NW Heritage is a not for profit community organisation that brings communities together in researching and caring for heritage assets. The Lathom site is one of eight currently managed by the group. We also provide training in archaeological techniques to university students.
NW Heritage runs field schools, educational workshops and courses in experimental archaeology. We are also currently involved in the staging of the major "Viking:Rediscover The Legend" exhibition at Southport in 2018, partnered by The British Museum and The York Museums Trust.
